Following the official unveil of the all-new A5 and S5 Coupe, Audi will at some point top of the range with the RS5.

Setting it apart from the standard models, on the visual side, will be a beefed up body kit, similar to what X-Tomi did in this latest rendering, comprising of an RS-specific grille, new bumpers and larger side skirts and bigger alloys.

Tweaking the suspension, brakes, steering and electronic limited-slip diff will make the car corner faster than its predecessor and its newly developed twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, which will replace the old 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, will position it against the likes of the BMW M4 Coupe and Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe.

Its predecessor did the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 4.6 seconds. The power race is definitely on and the new RS5 wiil be faster, although its top speed will probably continue to be electronically capped at 250 km/h (155 mph), at least officially.

Audi will launch the new-gen A5 and S5 Coupe in Europe this fall, so the RS5 will not come out before 2017 at the earliest.
