When it comes to track-dedicated street-legal cars, few can top Porsche’s 911 GT3 RS, especially if it comes embellished in carbon-fiber goodies.
Even though the high-performance sports car is offered as a complete package straight from the factory (with carbon fiber accents), Edo Competition reckoned that something was missing from the overall picture, and came up with its own carbon sport package for the 911 GT3 RS.
Optimized for performance, the light-weight add-ons are made to channel air more easily, reduce turbulence and create downforce, especially the fender outlets, side panel intakes, winglets, mirror covers and rear cover air intake.
Moreover, they also underline the vehicle’s sporty character, as nothing yells performance as a 493hp, naturally aspirated flat six-powered sports car with lots of carbon fiber bits and bobs. The stock car is far from subtle to begin with, but the whole package offers a rather tamed appearance, especially as it can be commissioned in either matte or glossy finishes to suit every visual need.
Even the vehicle’s cabin was adorned in carbon-fiber, although Edo Competition likes to say the interior accessories were placed in the foreground. Sure, they don’t poke your eye out, but what exactly on this car does?
