Launched in 2007 and updated last year, the Fiat 500 will get yet another limited edition in its range.
Dubbed 500 Riva, it has been co-developed by the Italian automaker and yacht manufacturer Riva and has unique features to help it stand out from the regular models.
Paying tribute to the original 500, which came out in 1957, the special edition sports an Evening Blue finish for the exterior, identical to that of the Aquariva Super powerboat, which, in turn, mirrors the color of the Aquarama that introduced in the same period as the original 500. The two companies behind the special edition promise “unique stylistic choices and exquisite detailing” and state that chrome and wood trims are part of the package.
Except for its unveil date, which has been scheduled for July 4, additional details on the special Fiat 500 Riva remain unknown for now, but since it is based on the facelifted version, it will probably adopt the same limited exterior updates and more premium materials in the cabin.
