It seems that in Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie, Batman is going to require even more firepower than he did when he went up against the Man of Steel.

Warner Bros. released this official image of the “Batmobile LCI” and according to production designer Patrick Tatopoulos, it’s even more lethal than the one from Batman v Superman.

“You have missile launchers, you have cannons, you have machine guns,” explained Tatopoulos. Furthermore, thanks to Comicbookmovie, we’ve learned that the League will have their own airship called The Flying Fox, large enough to fit the Batmobile inside.

Aside from that, Batman will also be using another machine called the Nightcrawler, allegedly designed by his father Thomas Wayne.

“There’s an action set piece – we’re gonna take you to this tunnel,” explains producer Deborah Snyder. “It’s a tunnel they were gonna build between Metropolis and Gotham and it had been abandoned, so the project never really went forward. But there’s abandoned remains of what started to be this tunnel. It’s pretty hard to get the Batmobile through there, so it’s nice to have the Crawler, which can maneuver.”

Snyder also went on record to (surprisingly) state that there will only be one Justice League film, not two. “We were only ever planning, and we are only doing, Justice League,” she told Empire. When asked to clarify if there’s going to be a part two, she replied “No”.

Aside from the vehicle, we’ve also learned that Batman will put on another armored Bat-suit like the one he fought Superman in, and there will be an updated version of his standard costume as well, described as “even more protective than the classic suit,” by designer Michael Wilkinson.
