Mansory’s tuning package for the Mercedes Benz AMG GT S includes a variety of elements, but this particular project is a one-off special.
We’ve seen what the aftermarket specialist can create out of the AMG GT, as Mansory previewed this very vehicle not that long ago – although, at that time, details about the car were almost non-existent.
Conceived as a unique model, this one-of-a-kind AMG GT S is the latest development in the company’s line-up, combining refinement with motorsport influences. Mansory’s designers have paid special attention to the rear of the Gran Turismo, giving it a more striking look with the help of the large rear wing.
The remodeled rear spoiler, with integrate diffuser, provides added downforce and adheres well with the vehicle’s new aggressive stance. To make it even more special, the tuner employed a uniqe paint process, which involves coloring all visible carbon-fiber parts in ruby red (at the owner’s request).
Under the hood, Mansory has squeezed a considerable amount of extra oomph from the vehicle’s twin-turbo V8. After being adorned with larger turbochargers, as well as a stainless steel sport exhaust system, sports air filter, and remap, the 4.0-litre aggregate develops 730ps (720hp). Or the equivalent of pushing the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
The power is sent to the asphalt through the central lock lightweight 9.5×21”/10.5×21” wheels wrapped in 245/35ZR21/-305/25ZR21 tires.
