One of the many vehicles that will celebrate their debut in the UK at this year’s motor event on Lord March’s Goodwood Estate will be the Maserati Levante.
The Trident’s first ever SUV will be put through its paces on the famous 1.16-mile (1.87 km) hill climb, in the First Glance class, one month after it celebrated its local debut. It will also be on display at the Moving Motor Show, from June 23-26, where it will be joined by the brand’s flagship, the Quattroporte, and the smaller Ghibli.
Those looking into the premium SUV should know that Maserati has already opened the order books in the UK, where the cheapest version can be had from 54,335 ($77,440). Equip it with the Luxury or Sport packages and you will have to pay £60,285 ($85,920), while the Luxury Pack Zegna Edition will set its future buyers back for £61,185 ($85,920). Customer deliveries are expected to kick off this fall.
In Europe, the Levante shares a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with the Ghibli, available in two outputs, 345 HP and 424 HP, while the most frugal variant is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 diesel, rated at 271 HP that returns 39 mpg UK (32.67 mpg US / 7.2 lt/100 km) and emits 189 g/km CO2.
