Barricade is the latest character revealed from Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers: The Dark Knight’ and if he’s every bit as mean as his previous iteration, we’re in for a treat.
Fans of the saga probably still remember Barricade and his tremendous entrance during the first Transformers movie when he first attacked Sam before getting involved in a chase scene and “droid death match” with Bumblebee.
Of course, since that movie came out back in 2007 and this one is set to be released on June 23, 2017, there has been a generational switch regarding the Mustang that Barricade will be transforming into. Aside from being the latest model, this car is also wearing a very imposing body kit, with a massive hood and rear wing that should let pretty much anyone know they’re dealing with a Decepticon and not one of the good guys.
The image was tweeted by actor Josh Duhamel who plays Lt. Colonel William Lennox – quite a few promotions for this guy since the first movie, right? He’ll be joined by Mark Wahlberg (returning as Cade Yeager) and Anthony Hopkins in an unknown role.
We’re looking forward to having more Decepticons and Autobots teased in the near future, though since this is Michael Bay we’re talking about, there should still be a few CGI-based surprises in store for us once the movie comes out.
