With just a couple of days left for its launch, the Mercedes-AMG GT R stars in a new video.
Building upon the “Beast of the Green Hell” footage, during which it left a couple of skid marks on the Nurburgring and was then followed by Lewis Hamilton into the “jungle”, the latest video shows a parrot who seems to be baffled by the growl of the supercar’s twin-turbo V8 engine.
Speaking of which, recent info has revealed that the 4.0-liter mill provides an extra oomph over the 510 PS (503 HP) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque of the current range-topper, the AMG GT S, up to 585 PS (577 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. This improves the naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration by 0.2 seconds, to 3.6, while making sure that top speed is higher than before, at 318 km/h (198 mph).
Finished in an exclusive shade of dark green, named AMG Green Hell Magno, the hardcore GT will sit on the lawn on Lord March’s domain from June 24.
