If you want your Fiat 500 to be sporty, but not the way Abarth does it, the new ‘S’ version wants to have you covered.
The cute shape has now been enhanced by a set of more dynamic bumpers, various body trim parts painted in the exclusive Satin Graphite finish, rear tinted windows, chrome-plated tailpipe, “black grained” front air intakes and a honeycomb bottom grille.
The new Fiat 500S comes fitted with a set of 15in alloys with the same Satin Graphite finish or a set of 16in alloys with matt black diamond treatment. The color palette includes the new Italia Blue and Alpi Green shades.
The cabin keeps up with the ‘sporty’ theme, with black seats, matching roof liner and contrasting door panels available in blue, white or yellow. Fiat also offers the option of Frau Leather upholstery with white or blue details.
Customers will get to choose between the 94hp 1.3-litre Multijet diesel, a 68hp 1.2-litre petrol, a 99hp 1.4-litre petrol and the 0.9-litre Twinair unit with 79hp, 84hp and 103hp. No changes were announced on the setup of the suspension.
The new Fiat 500S comes with the seven-inch Uconnect infotainment system as standard, complete with connected services, voice recognition and all the latest connectivity features. The company will also offer as an option a 440W sound system designed by BeatsAudio, featuring an eight-channel amplifier.
