Following the official reveal of the Ka+, Ford invited Lewis Hilsenteger of the hugely popular Unbox Therapy channel to unbox their new compact city car in the same gadget-like fashion.
The company had the new Ka+ wrapped and tucked into a huge, 4.2-metre long box for this stunt, filling the interior with countless air-cushion packaging.
“This is the biggest unboxing I have ever done! I was not aware of what was in the box until it was opened. I’m a huge Ford fan, and am delighted to have unboxed the KA+,” said Hilsenteger.
Actress Joanna Page was assisting the special unboxing of the new Ford Ka+. “As an unboxing novice it was a great experience to work with Lewis on his biggest ever challenge,” said Page.
The new Ford Ka+ will be offered only with a five-door bodystyle, aiming to rival lower-priced models in the European market such as the Dacia Sandero. The company claims an outstanding interior space for its segment and fun-to-drive dynamics at an affordable price.
Customers will get to choose between the69hp (70PS) or the 84hp (85PS) version of the 1.2-litre petrol unit which returns a combined 56.5mpg UK (5.0lt/100km) and CO2 emissions of 114g/km, once the new Ka+ hits the market.
