Earlier this week, Renault came up with the range-topping Twingo GT, and now another version of the city car has been released: The Color Run Special Edition.
Setting you back for at least £10,495 ($15,260) in the UK, it builds upon the Twingo Play and offers a saving of £800 ($1,165) over a similarly specified model.
Joining the usual standard features of the grade, which include the R&GO application that turns compatible smartphones into an infotainment system, air-con, DAB tuner with Bluetooth, USB and AUX, is a fresh set of 15-inch Exception alloy wheels, a fabric folding sunroof and bespoke floor mats.
Customers can choose between a large color palette, which includes the new Ultraviolet Metallic shade, and the optional special edition decals will set it apart furthermore, along with the Exterior Touch Pack and Interior Style Pack. Motivating the special Renault Twingo is a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder SCe petrol engine, rated at 70 PS (69 HP), returning 56.6 mpg UK (47.1 mpg US / 5 lt/100 km) and emitting 112 g/km CO2.
The special edition Twingo has been created to celebrate the brand’s sponsorship of The Color Run, which kicks off in London, at Wembley Park, on June 12. During the untimed event, participants can complete the course “however they wish, be it running, walking, skipping, dancing or even cartwheeling”, as the manufacturer explains
