Rezvani is preparing to add a new model to its lineup. Called the Beast Alpha, it promises to be a more comfortable version of the bare-bones Beast roadster.

The California-based company made a name for itself modifying the Ariel Atom, putting angular bodywork on its exposed chassis, among other enhancements. More practical though it is than the one on which it is based, though, the Rezvani Beast is still more hardcore than just about anything else on the road.

The Beast Alpha ought to be just as extreme in its performance, but with a few amenities to make it more usable day to day. Rezvani says it will have a removable hard-top, working doors, a fully furnished interior swathed in leather and Alcantara, even air conditioning.

It’ll still pack a 500-horsepower engine, though, mounted in the back and hooked up to a manual transmission. And since the added bodywork will be made of carbon fiber, the weight gain should be as forgivable as possible.

Rezvani plans to unveil the Beast Alpha later this summer, and is already taking pre-orders. It also promises more information to follow in the coming weeks, but for now the teaser image above is the best we have to go on. (We’ve also included a few shots of the existing Beast for your viewing pleasure in the meantime.)
