After the first Model X was delivered to Canada just days ago, Europeans who have placed an order for the electric crossover should clean their garages, as the first units will arrive by the end of June.
The announcement is official and was made by Tesla Motors on its social media accounts: “Model X hits European roads. First customer deliveries at the end of this month #ModelX.“
The biggest unknown right now is which countries will receive the first examples of the gullwing zero-emission vehicle, but until Tesla sheds some light, we will remind you that the Model X is available in three different configurations.
Equipped with a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery and all-wheel drive, the entry-level 75D has a driving range of up to 381 km (237 miles). It promises a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration in just over 6 seconds and a top speed of 209 km/h (130 mph).
The mid-range 90D is more powerful and has a 90 kWh battery, which allows it to travel up to 414 km (257 miles). Zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes under 5 seconds and top speed is 250 km/h (155 mph) in this version.
The range-topper goes by the name of P90D and has a driving range of up to 402 km (250 miles). However, despite traveling less than the 90D on a single charge, it compensates with an insane 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time of just over 3 seconds with the Ludicrous Speed Upgrade and a top speed electronically capped at 250 km/h (155 mph).
