We all have seen, read or heard how great is the new Audi R8 V10 Plus, but this is the first time we see it being reviewed on US soil.
Audi’s halo sports car (supercar?) offers a naturally aspirated powerplant amongst a sea of turbochargers and what an engine it is: 10 cylinders in a vee, 5.2 liters and 602 of the most musical horsepower you can legally buy straight out of the dealer.
Motor Trend gets its hands on one Euro-spec model to find out if Audi has actually improved the original R8, testing it both on the road and on Willow Springs. And while being on the track, they thought it would be a great idea to bring along a Lamborghini Huracan to see how fast the two cousins really are.
Let’s just say that the Audi R8 V10 Plus really needs some stickier rubber if it wants to catch up with the baby Lambo on track.
