Dacia will launch their 2017MY Duster SUV in Prestige dCi110 4×2 guise at the Moving Motor Show held during the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 23rd.
The Duster has received a number of exterior and interior upgrades, as well as the new range-topping Prestige version. The most obvious change s the revised front end styling with new headlights. There’s also a new 1.2 TCe 125 engine available, complimenting the existing 1.6 SCe 115 unit. The new turbocharged 125 PS (123 HP) petrol engine provides 205 Nm (151 lb-ft) of torque and can return up to 46.3 mpg (6.1l/100km) as long as you’re driving the 4×2 version. As for CO2 emissions, they sit firmly at 138g/km.
Dacia have made the new engine available on Laureate trim and above, which means that UK customers can now have a choice of either petrol or diesel at every trim level.
There have been upgrades in terms of standard equipment and new interior upholstery across all trim levels. Ambiance-spec models now get DAB radio as standard, while other versions get a new dark carbon finish for the dashboard, new satin chrome center console surround and the steering wheel inserts to match it. The options list has grown as well with 16″ Tyrol diamond-cut alloys, rear parking sensors (a factory-fit option) and a rear parking camera, though the latter is only available as an option on Laureate trim and above. Customers will also be able to spec their car with the new part-leather ‘Aspira’ upholstery and choose a new exterior color called Pennine Green.
Buyers of the Prestige will get 16″ alloys, the MediaNav Evolution system with 7″ touchscreen and sat-nav and rear-parking camera as standard. The Prestige costs £900 more than the Laureate, saving the customer £250 compared to adding the extra equipment to the lower trim level.
Prices for the updated Duster range start from £9,495 including taxes.
