Zenos Cars will be celebrating their first participation in the Goodwood Festival of Speed with an E10 R run up the legendary hillclimb.

Billed as the pinnacle of the E10 range, the “R” will compete in the Race Cars for the Road category, which includes a timed lap up the 1.16 miles (1.87 km) long hill. Taking turns in driving it will be Laura Tillett, former World Karting Championship, Formula Renault and Volkswagen Saloon Championship competitor, and Antony Sidney-Woollett, a “race-winner and owner of an E10 R”, as Zenos explains.

We’re very excited to be taking part in the Goodwood Festival of Speed, particularly as it’s with the mighty Zenos E10R. For many people, this will be their first chance to see our fastest-ever model, as well as the first opportunity to see it driven at maximum pace“, said the brand’s Managing Director, Mark Edwards.

Propelling it from naught to sixty (96 km/h) is a mid-mounted 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, sourced from the latest Ford Focus RS. The four-cylinder mill runs on a bespoke ECU and it’s good for 345 HP and 350 pound-feet (475 Nm) of torque. Tipping the scales at 700 kg (1,543 lbs), the Zenos E10 R can go up to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Prices for the vehicle start at £39,995 ($57,000) in the UK, while the entry-level E10 can be had from £26,995 ($38,475).
