What were you doing when you were 13? Whatever the answer, you probably weren’t driving – and if you did, it wasn’t at speeds exceeding 200 mph (320 km/h).
Clearly, the following young man isn’t your typical teenager, as his dad owns a fleet of exotics including a Porsche 918 Spyder and Bugatti Veyron and remarkably, he’s allowed to drive his dad’s prized possessions at drag racing events across the United States.
At a recent Shift-Sector event held in Colorado, Steven Aghakhani got behind the wheel of the Veyron in an attempt to beat his personal top speed record of 195 mph (313 km/h). Helped along by 986 hp, he managed to pump out a 202 mph (325 km/h) top speed with relative ease.
Despite what you may be thinking, Steven isn’t just a lucky kid who gets to play around in his dad’s cars. He is actually a promising up-and-coming racer having been signed up as a development driver in the competitive Lamborghini Blancpain series.
