You pays your money, you get your high-performance coupe, but what if you have to choose between Ford’s Mustang GT350 and GT350R?

After going for a spin in the former earlier this month, Alexander Salomon, who is the man behind a few interesting supercar comparisons, has now taken the hotter, more expensive and more powerful GT350R out for a short drive.

Immediately after stepping inside, he made a remark on the bucket seats and steering wheel and then went on to talk about the car’s adjustable magnetic suspension that could make a big difference in choosing this over the lesser model. The highest-revving production V8 engine the Blue Oval ever assembled, which has a redline that begins at 8,250 rpm, has been brought into discussion too, and so has the quad-processor that is behind the infotainment system.

However, is a short drive really enough to put a stamp on a car and recommend it over a cheaper version? Well, Salomondrin thinks so, and his opinion should be taken into consideration since his personal garage is filled with rare exotics, such as the Pagani Huayra or Porsche 918 Spyder, to name just a couple of them.
