Maranello knows it always has customers eager to throw their cheque books at it whenever it launches a new model, and South Korea is no exception.
The GTC4Lusso hit the Korean Peninsula for the first time on June 29, at an event that took place at the W Seoul Walkerhill hotel.
The updated version of the FF is the successor to a long line of four-seat, twelve-cylinder GTs from Ferrari, following in the footsteps of the 612 Scaglietti, 456 GT, 412, 400, and 365 GT4 2+2.
Only where the latter model from 1972 offered 340 horsepower from its 4.4-liter V12 channeled to the rear axle through a five-speed manual, the GTC4Lusso packs a 6.3-liter V12 sending twice as much to all four wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The GTC4Lusso was revealed at to a select cadre of clientele at Lake Como in February and to the public at the Geneva Motor Show. It has since been making its tour of the Pacific’s western shores with local showings to potential buyers and, before South Korea, it was shown in China, Japan and Australia.
