With 12,300 vehicles delivered across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) up 11.5 percent over the same period last year, June became a record-setting month for Jeep.
The best-seller was by far the Renegade, which accounted for 62.4 percent of total sales.
Best ever monthly sales results were recorded in Germany and France, where 1,684 (+25.6 percent) and 1,226 (+5.9 percent) units found new homes, contributing to total European sales of 9,883, up 16.2 percent, representing the 32nd consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains.
Jeep managed to sell 28,698 units in the second quarter of the year across the European continent, up 22.7 percent, setting a new internal record. Best quarter performance were also recorded in the United Kingdom, where 3,854 units were sold, up 46.4 percent, in France, with 3,212 units delivered, up 13 percent, and Spain, which accounted for 2,088 units, up 55.6 percent.
In the first half of the year, 55,171 models made by Jeep were sold in Europe, up 22.7 percent, and out of these, 40,571 were Renegades.
