Some people like Porsches when they’re sleek and polished. Others, like Magnus Walker, like them gritty. This 1967 911S is a perfect example.
Known as the Urban Outlaw, Walker runs on the opposite side of the Porsche-tuning spectrum from companies like TechArt or Gemballa. Though they don’t skimp on the decals, Walker’s creations are more about getting back in touch with the mechanical elements of driving than they are about flash.
The S model was Porsche’s first stab at upgrading its iconic sports car, fitting it with a more powerful engine and other upgrades. Predating the advent of the Carrera RS and Turbo, the 911S paved the way for all the many higher-performance models to follow over the decades.
It’s a great way to get back to the 911’s air-cooled roots, then, and Magnus has taken it even further. He’s taken it back to original condition, upgraded the suspension with adjustable components, and giving it a look all its own. Check it out in the latest video from eGarage.
