Matt LeBlanc’s move from acting to the most popular car show on the planet, Top Gear, has seemingly left a mark on his taste in vehicles.
Previously known for preferring to ride rather than drive, the 48-year old seems to have a crush on one of the most marketed compact hot hatches out there, the Ford Focus RS.
What’s more, and Ken Block might have had something to do with it. In fact, the professional rally driver was the one to announce LeBlanc’s newest purchase on Instagram.
“My buddy/current Top Gear host Matt LeBlanc has been able to drive some of the best cars in the world right now. So what did he choose as his daily driver? A new Ford Focus RS! I approve of his decision. And bonus points for the Hoonigan license plate frame!“
Despite being able to sprint from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 165 mph (266 km/h), propelled by the 345 HP (350 PS) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque (347 lb-ft/470 Nm with overboost) 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, the Ford Focus RS didn’t leave a significant mark on the Top Gear host’s bank account, as it carries an MSRP of $35,900.
