The Morgan EV3 has to be the most stylish mode of electric transportation we’ve seen yet. But for those looking for an even more fashionable version, Morgan has teamed up with high-end department store Selfridges & Co for this special edition.
The Selfridges edition is based on the electric three-wheeler revealed at the Geneva Motor Show a few months ago. Details of just what sets the special edition apart are a little scarce at the moment, but the manufacturer says it encompasses “unique features such as a miniature bronze plaque, bronze grills and the best of British materials used in the interiors and hardware.”
Only 19 examples will be made, representative of the year 1909 in which both distinctly British brands just happen to have been founded. Selfridges isn’t the first luxury retailer to have commissioned such an exclusive special edition automobile: every year Neiman Marcus puts out its Christmas catalog featuring some exclusive motorized plaything or another.
