BMW‘s Abu Dhabi dealership just took in this Alpine White M4 GTS that’s oozing genuine “going-round-corners” type of performance from every one of its carbon fiber bits.
Compared to the regular M4, the GTS version is all about the race track and pure fun on the streets. Comfort comes second when your engineers have gone through the trouble of figuring out how much weight they can save while still making you feel like you’re behind the wheel of a premium coupe.
Where once you had leather or plastic, now you’ve got Alcantara and carbon=fiber. Easily noticeable are the carbon-fiber bucket seats, the lightweight rear-seat paneling, door pull-up loops and the boot area partition. Outside, the car features lots of carbon fiber aero bits, with the large rear wing and the M Carbon Compound wheels standing out the most.
In terms of performance, it’s got 500 PS and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, which help it accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds before maxing out at 305 km/h (189 mph). Straight line speed isn’t necessarily what this car is all about, at least not so much as handling and generating higher levels of downforce than your regular M3 or M4 Coupe.
As for its aesthetics, we’ve seen a few other white M4 GTS examples, but whether or not it looks better like this compared to say the Frozen Dark Grey Metallic ones or the Mineral Grey Metallic, that’s up to you guys to say.
