Audi USA has updated their plug-in hybrid A3 Sportback e-Tron for 2017 adding more tech and safety features.
The 2017 A3 Sportback e-Tron continues to use a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine combined with an electric motor for a total output of 204hp and 258lb-ft. 0-60mph still comes in a rather brisk 7.6 seconds, with the all-electric range being around 25 miles.
For 2017, the plug-in hybrid Audi comes with more standard features, including panoramic sunroof, rearview camera and standard driver assistance systems such as Audi pre sense basic and Audi pre sense front. Premium Plus and Prestige models also get LED daytime running lights with e-tron signature LED headlights.
The cabin also gets Audi’s famous-now Virtual Cockpit, which now features unique displays such as a power meter screen with the available driving range and consumption figures for both the electricity and gasoline. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard while customers can opt for the company’s connected services as well.
The 2017 Audi A3 Sportback e-Tron will be priced from $38,900 at the entry-level Premium trim level to $47,550 at the range-topping Prestige trim. California customers may also qualify for additional state and federal incentives and tax credits.
