Amazon Vehicles has just been rolled out a community and resource for users to research and read reviews on a selection of vehicles.

The new automotive hub doesn’t sell vehicles like eBay Motors but instead provides information to buyers, such as their key specifications, important reviews, recommended pricing and the ability to ask current owners about their cars.

Additionally, Amazon Vehicles can help direct customers to the company’s official automotive store where replacement and aftermarket parts can be purchased.

According to director of Amazon Automotive Adam Goetsch, “Our goal is to support customers during one of the most important, research-intensive purchases in their lives by helping them make informed decisions every step of the way. Amazon Vehicles is a great resource for customers who are interested in car information or looking for a broad selection of parts and accessories – all enhanced by the ability to tap into the knowledge, opinions, and experiences of other car owners within the Amazon customer community.”

Although Amazon isn’t selling vehicles just yet, a report from CNET indicates that the hub could be expanded to offer buying and selling options in the near future.
