BMW will continue its centenary celebrations throughout Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance by displaying some of its iconic models.
The brand’s display will be fronted by a completely restored BMW 507 once driven by Elvis resley. The iconic roadster was restored under the direction of BMW Group Classic in Munich, Germany and will be shown off prominently during what is North America’s most famous Concours event.
Alongside the Elvis 507, the automaker is bringing with it the 328 Touring Coupe which walked away victorious at the Mille Miglia in 1940. It will be joined by another 328 that competed in the same event two years prior.
Jaws will also drop with the presentation of the original and latest models from the BMW Art Cars Collection. That means the iconic 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL will be on show alongside the 2010 BMW M3 GT3 straight from the marque’s Munich museum. Other models being displayed include a host of race-spec BMW M1s and a BMW 2002.
