Brabus is returning to the US Smart lineup with a new sport package, bringing styling upgrades and promising to add some spice in the driving experience of the popular city car.
With that said, the new Brabus sport package doesn’t include any power upgrades but rather expands the customization options for Smart customers.
Available for MY2017 Coupe and Roadster models, the package features a 10mm drop in the suspension, courtesy of Brabus-tuned dampers and springs plus a stiffer anti-roll bar and a set of new matte grey alloys measuring 16 inches in diameter at the front and 17 inches at the back fitted with Yokohama summer performance tires.
Interior and exterior styling options include a matte grey rear diffuser, a front spoiler and rear apron finished in the car’s body color and a Brabus three-spoke steering wheel. The upholstery material depends on your chosen trim level -passion, prime or proxy.
A set of brushed stainless steel pedals with rubber studs and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters on models equipped with the Twinamic transmission complete the revisions.
The new Brabus sport package will be available to both manual and automatic versions of the 2017 Smart Coupe and Roadster models as a $1,900 option starting this fall.
