Retired professional basketball player Kobe Bryant is the last in a long list of enthusiasts who were allured by Ferrari’s ultra-rare, track-only beast, the FXX K.
And who can blame him knowing that the hypercar is capable of mind-blowing performance and comes with no less than 1,050 PS (1,036 HP) produced by a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and an electric motor, with a combined peak torque that exceeds 900 Nm (664 lb-ft).
The 37-year old NBA star had a big smile on his face when he sat inside the Ferrari FXX K owned by Google Executive Benjamin Sloss’ wife, Christine, psoing for the camera, to the delight of her 27,000 Instagram followers: “Always a pleasure to meet a fellow enthusiast, @KobeBryant!“, Christine wrote.
Now that basketball is no longer draining the life out of him, perhaps Kobe could shift his focus towards the world of high-end exclusive vehicles and choose a few rides to spend his cash on them. The Ferrari FXX K is a good choice, and so is the McLaren P1 GTR, which plays in the same league.
Always a pleasure to meet a fellow enthusiast, @kobebryant !
