The finest Lamborghinis from the company’s fabled 53 year history stunned onlookers at Monterey Car Week as new and old came together in a glittering show of Italian automotive drama.

Certainly the headline of Lamborghini’s show-stopping presence throughout the weekend was the world premiere of the Centenario Roadster. Restricted to just 20 units, the Centenario Roadster joins the hardtopped variant which was released at March’s Geneva Motor Show. Thanks to its Aventador SV-derived 6.5-liter V12 engine delivering 770 hp, it promises to be the fastest Lamborghini ever produced.

The year 2016 also marks a significant anniversary for the marque as it comes 50 years after the birth of arguably the world’s first supercar, the Lamborghini Miura. Just 764 examples of the iconic model were ever built and during ‘The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering’ at Pebble Beach, no less than 25 Miuras gathered together.

Each Miura displayed was inspected and evaluated by company executives and motoring experts and on Sunday, the five standouts hit Pebble Beach’s famed eighteenth green during the Concours d’Elegance.
