The rare Lamborghini Centenario will make its UK debut at Salon Prive at the start of September.

Limited to just 20 units in coupe guise and an additional 20 roadsters, the Centenario was conceived to celebrate the 100th anniversary of company founder Ferrucio Lamborghini. Even before the model’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show, it was reported that all examples had been sold.

Power for the Centenario comes from a tweaked version of the 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine of the Aventador SV, now producing 759 hp. With a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 2.8 seconds and a 217 mph (350 km/h) top speed, the Centenario is the fastest production Lamborghini ever and the latest in the firm’s long history of limited-edition, multi-million dollar models.

While the powertrain of the Centenario hasn’t changed all that much from the Aventador, the exterior is radically different. For starters, the model wears an exclusive carbon fiber finish and yellow accents on the front splitter, side skirts and rear end. Bespoke headlights and taillights are also included.

Given Salon Prive’s status as the most exclusive car event in the UK, it’s only appropriate the Centenario makes its local debut there.
