Chevrolet has opened the order books for the Camaro across the United Kingdom, where deliveries will kick off in October.
Available with two engine options, 2.0 Turbo and V8, on both Coupe and Convertible body styles, the new Chevrolet Camaro is priced from £31,755 ($41,272), £2,760 ($3,587) more over the entry-level Ford Mustang EcoBoost.
The most expensive Coupe is powered by the 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission, costing from £42,245 ($54,906) in 50th Anniversary Edition guise. Prices for the Convertible vary from £35,755 ($46,471) for the 2.0-liter automatic variant and all the way up to £46,480 ($60,411) for the 6.2-liter V8 automatic, in the range-topping 50th Anniversary Edition.
Both four-cylinder models can also be ordered with an optional £1,890 ($2,456) Comfort and Technology package. A series of exterior stripes is offered on all models, priced from £550 ($705) and finished in Abalone White Tri-Coat, Switchblade Silver, Black or Carbon Flash Metallic, or you could opt for what Chevy refers to as Rally Stripe, coming at £400 ($520) in Abalone White Tri-Coat, Silver, Black or Carbon Flash Metallic.
Depending on the equipment grade, prospective buyers can also choose optional headlights, power sunroof, different wheels, Ceramic White or Adrenaline Red leather seating surface with Interior Accent Trim Package and others.
Chevrolet will offer the Camaro in the United Kingdom as a left-hand drive car, but the recently unveiled ZL1 version, which is the most powerful production Camaro ever, will not be available for order.
