With the Kodiaq getting ready for its Paris Motor Show debut later this year, there’s still plenty of time for the Czech automaker to continue its fine-tuning.

Thanks to one of our readers who was out on a bike ride, we’re able to see the Kodiaq in motion while wearing a different type of camouflage than before. The car was apparently there for some type of photo or video shoot, which would explain why the driver went on to gesture “no” with his index finger.

Skoda has already come out with a couple of official shots of the Kodiaq wearing the exact same camouflage, which now makes sense because it’s better at hiding the car’s features than the previously used black vinyl, thus allowing the photographer to get good shots without giving anything away.

Speaking of its features, design-wise the Kodiaq should resemble the VisionS concept, while at the same time progressing the brand’s new aesthetics, which will later end up on future models as well.

In terms of size, you can expect it to compete with other seven-seater SUVs from its segment, but as company CEO Bernhard Maier put it, the Kodiaq will be a “great all-rounder” most of all.

Whether or not it will actually be the “best vehicle in the segment,” as Maier suggests, remains to be seen – especially with the Land Rover Discovery Sport roaming around.
