We’re just a few weeks away from the world premiere of the new Skoda Kodiaq, set to take place on September 1 in Berlin.
But before we get there, the Bohemian automaker has given us a bit more to look at with these latest teaser images and video.
Skoda’s first proper foray into SUVs (with apologies to the Yeti), the Kodiaq was previewed in concept form as the Vision S earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The production version looks poised to follow the concept’s lead closely, albeit with some changes as concessions to the reality of mass production.
The new Skoda Kodiaq will offer seating for seven and more than 2,000 liters of cargo capacity. The teaser images reveal details like the LED headlights with their distinctive lighting signature and the also LED-incorporating taillights.
But as you can already see from the detail shots and video clip below, the production Kodiaq doesn’t look like it will stray too far from the concept, and doesn’t appear to be skimping on the style, either.
