Tesla has just announced a new 2-year leasing program for the Model S and Model X, thought to be aimed at Model 3 buyers.
As deliveries of the Model 3 won’t start until late next year before hitting full stride in 2018, it seems that the electric automaker is eager to get those with Model 3 orders into its other models, welcoming them to the Tesla family.
With the new short-term leasing options, an entry-level Model S 60 can be had for just $593 per month excluding the $7,288 sign up fee. With an annual allowance of 10,000 miles, this deal could prove quite appealing for those not willing to shell out big bucks for a range-topping Model S or Model X.
For those that are able to spend more, options for every Model S and Model X configuration are available. The most costly of them all is the Model X P90D which can be leased for a minimum of 24 months for $1,628 per month, plus a $1,200 delivery fee, $2,500 order payment and a $5,823 signing fee.
As over 400,000 people have placed orders for the Tesla Model 3, some customers will have to wait until 2019 before taking delivery.
