The last example of the third-generation Renault Megane RS rolled off the production line in Palencia over a month ago. But don’t worry if you didn’t seize the opportunity to buy one before it ended its lifecycle, because that very last example is now up for sale at a dealership in the UK.

The landmark hot hatch is a 275 Cup-S model, which means it packs a 2.0-liter turbo four rated at 275 horsepower – just like the Trophy-R that once held the Nürburgring lap record for front-drive cars at 7:54.36. It also features the Cup suspension, mechanical diff, Brembo brakes and oh, so much more.

This particular example was completed with right-hand drive (for markets like the UK and Japan), decked out in yellow paint with the optional 19-inch Speedline alloys, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber and hooked up to Öhlins adjustable dampers. It also features such optional extras as Recaro seats, leather upholstery, Alcantara trim, 7-inch R-Link infotainment display and onboard telemetry system.

Want to put it in your driveway? Arnold Clark Renault in Dundee, Scotland, can hook you up for £31,930. But if you have to pass on this opportunity, don’t worry, because you can bet there’ll be a new Renaultsport Megane released soon. When it does, it will further a model line stretching back to 2003. To date Renault has produced over 30,000 examples of some of the finest hot hatches ever to throw itself into a corner and speed back out the other side, and we’re looking forward to seeing what it’ll cook up next.
