If you love seeing supercars on the street, there are few better places to see them than around Monaco during Formula 1 or London throughout summer. As it turns out, North America is also home to its very own haven for exotics, Ocean Avenue in Carmel, California during Monterey Car Week.
The world famous automotive gathering was held last week and attracted some of the rarest, most expensive and most exciting cars on the planet. With events like The Quail and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it isn’t surprising the caliber of the cars that turn up.
But it is on the streets of the small seaside town of Carmel where modern day exotics parade down the main street just like they do along Sloane Street in London. As Seen Through Glass puts it, this could very well be the best place to spot supercars anywhere in the world.
Throughout the first six minutes of this video, all manner of exotics were filmed cruising along Ocean Avenue. Some of the most marvellous was a blue Aston Martin One-77 with blue wheels, a hot pink Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a number of BMW 3.0 CSLs, two Ferrari 488 GTBs, a customized Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, SLS AMG, Novitec-tuned Lamborghini Aventador, a white Aventador SV Roadster, Ford GT, a baby blue Porsche Cayman GT4 and many, many more.
Monterey Car Week 2017 is definitely on our to-do list.
