Few things are more flamboyant than Top Car’s Stinger Package for the 911, and the GTR gen.2 is one of them.
The tuner’s latest package dedicated to the facelifted 991 generation, is an evolution of the original Stinger body-kit, and it’s called the Stinger GTR gen.2. It has everything you’d expect from Top Car, and then some, adopting a wide array of aerodynamic mods and add-ons.
There are only a few subtle changes compared to the previous approach, but the Stinger’s new design is more chiseled, and better integrated in the 911’s body. Installed on a 911 Turbo, the package adds a plethora of carbon-fiber bits, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a new hood, and 911 GT3 RS-reminiscent air intakes on the side wings.
There’s no word about what’s going on under the hood, but the Stinger GTR gen.2 will officially debut at Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2016 on August 24th, so we’ll find out more about it then. Still, if it’s going to be anything like the previous model, it will come with at least 60 PS (59 hp) of extra power and 130 Nm (95 lb-ft) of extra torque, increasing the total output to 620 PS (611 hp) and 790 Nm (582 lb-ft) of torque – without the overboost function.
