Arguably one of the world’s top power-couples and celebrities, Jay Z and Beyonce have been spotted in an old Alfa Romeo Spider during a recent trip to Italy.
The image, courtesy of Big Cars Ltd, shows the pair doing something that could be considered uncharacteristic, namely driving themselves instead of being chauffeured around in a large SUV or a luxury saloon.
Earlier last month, the two were also spotted in Milan, though it’s pretty hard to tell where exactly this picture was taken.
As for the car, it’s definitely a pre-1982s model, and since the Series 1 Spider and the Series 3 Spider had different-looking rears than the one pictured here, we’ll go ahead and assume we’re dealing with a second-generation Series 2 Spider, built between 1970 and 1982.
The Series 2 was powered by multiple engines throughout its life span, though always utilized a 5-speed manual gearbox, which the rapper/producer hopefully also got to enjoy on some fine Italian twisty roads – otherwise, what’s the point, right?
