Audi has come up with a special edition of the latest generation TT, dubbed S Line Competition.
Set to go on sale from the end of the year in Germany, carrying a starting price of €41,940 ($47,034) for the Coupe and €44,340 ($49,725) for the Roadster, it’s available with the 2.0-liter TFSI engine that develops 230 horsepower. The output is channeled to the front wheels through either a six-speed manual gearbox or an S Tronic, or to the Quattro AWD through an S Tronic.
Compared to the basic version, it sits by 10 mm (0.4 in) closer to the road thanks to the sport suspension with firm spring/damper settings, and it comes with standard Audi Drive Select, allowing whoever is holding the wheel to modify the car’s characteristics in one of the five modes: auto, comfort, dynamic, efficiency and individual.
On the outside, it sports high-gloss black finishes for the front blade, side mirror casings, diffuser insert, and fixed rear wing, while the tailpipes carry a black chrome look. The limited edition TT sits on 19-inch wheels, with a glossy black five-spoke blade design, wrapped in 245/35 tires, spinning around the red-painted brake calipers. As for the exterior colors, the brand with the four rings offers Glacier White, Nano Gray, Tango Red and the new Ara Blue.
Inside, the new Audi TT S Line Competition features S sport seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel, Audi Virtual Cockpit, leather and Alcantara mix on the seats and door armrests, slate gray chrome paint finish on the clip around the center console, seat trims and air vents, all offered at no extra cost. Pay a little extra and you can unlock the optional Fine Nappa leather and pneumatic adjustment for the seats’ side supports.
