We’re not generally huge fans of gold trim on cars. (Or at least this writer isn’t, anyway.) But this latest custom Bentley has us thinking again about gilded ornamentation.
This special Mulsanne is called the Sinjari edition, borrowing both its name and its color scheme from a particularly magnificent breed of falcon. It’s painted in a two-tone anthracite and onyx color scheme with a thin gold coachline running down its shoulder, capped by a Flying B hood ornament plated in 23.9-karat gold.
The treatment continues inside, wit two-tone black and tan quilted leather. Piano black lacquered veneer and picnic tables overlaid with gold-transfer images of the vehicle’s namesake raptor show that Mulliner does some of the finest work in the business, but we don’t doubt this kind of craftsmanship comes at a price.
The Bentley Mulsanne Sinjari is described as a limited edition, though we don’t know to exactly how many production will be limited.
