BMW has a raft of new vehicles to present at the Paris Motor Show this year. Most of them we’ve already seen, but the lineup will be spearheaded by the world debut of a revised version of the C Evolution electric scooter.
With the benefit of new battery technology from the recently updated i3, the refreshed C Evolution now boasts more power and a longer range. There are now two versions on offer: one with 15 horsepower, a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) top speed and a 100-kilometer (62-mile) range that’s suitable for the European A1 license, and a more potent version with 26 hp (11 more than before) that can reach 129 km/h (80 mph) and travel up to 160 km (99 miles) on a single charge.
Along with the new powertrain options, the C Evolution features updated styling and a smaller-diameter charging cable. The updated electric scooter also reaches new markets: it’s already available in several European markets, and now reaches the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Russia as well.
Joining the C Evolution on the BMW stand will be the aforementioned revised i3 and the new 3 Series Gran Turismo – both of which have already been released, but which will be making their show debuts at the French expo.
