Being a small sports-car manufacturer with only one model can be tough in this day and age, but not impossible, as Rezvani prooves with its Beast.
Like many others, Rezvani offers its vision of what the supercar car should be, but it does it for a considerably lower price. The Beast draws power from a supercharged and intercooled K24 DOHC 2.4-litre, Honda-sourced Rotrex engine that develops 500 HP.
It may not sound like much, considering that mainstream supercars get closer to 700 HP, but the Beast only weighs 1,650 pounds (750 kg). That translates into a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint of just 2.7 seconds.
So, with a starting MSRP of $215,000, Rezvani’s model is less expensive, and more exotic than Ferrari’s 488 GTB or McLaren’s 650s.
However, click enough optional extras and the price can skyrocket to almost $300,000. And there are plenty of options to choose from, including carbon ceramic brakes, full leather interior, fully adjustable suspension, and even a premium sound system.
Sounds stellar doesn’t it? Especially if you ignore the fact the Beast it’s actually an Ariel Atom in a fancy suit. You can configure your very own here.
