Cadillac has just announced that owners of a brand new 2017 CTS-V or ATS-V model will receive a two day driving course free of charge.

The driving course will be set at the firm’s V-Performance Driving Academy at Spring Mountain Motor Resort near Las Vegas and typically costs a minimum of $2,420.

Thanks to Cadillac’s generosity, owners of new CTS-V and ATS-V models will enjoy two nights accommodation at the on-site condos complete with breakfast, lunch and a dinner specially prepared by an experienced chef. For those travelling from interstate, airport transfers are provided for free as is the use of a Cadillac model during the stay.

Considering the performance offered by both models, it’s probably a good idea for Cadillac to provide training. After all, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine of the CTS-V delivers 640 hp and is fast enough to beat most other vehicles on four wheels. The M3-rivalling ATS-V isn’t too far behind with its twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6.

Cadillac isn’t the first manufacturer to offer such a driving course to new customers; just last week, Ford announced a similar program for Focus RS buyers.
