As we eagerly await the premiere of The Grand Tour, it seems that James May is lending his services to the world of satellite navigation.
Co-star Jeremy Clarkson recently posted a pair of videos on his Twitter account of May recording voice over for what seems like a GPS device or application and it’s just as hilarious as you’d expect.
Clarkson has experience as a GPS voice but instead of his brash attitude, May’s is much more low-key and and matter-of-fact, as he can be heard reading out distances in both metric and imperial measurements in a way which would certainly keeps us entertained on the journey home.
Evidently though, Clarkson isn’t so fond of May’s voice over, saying in his tweets “He has literally gone made” and “I’m losing the will to live”.
Will Richard Hammond be next?
