During a time that US voters are split between two parties, Jeep is attempting to bring everyone together with the help of the 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and Summit.
The ad has a somewhat different take on the term “freedom”. Instead of implying that you’d be more free (somehow) while driving a Grand Cherokee, Jeep went with sort of a “free to be yourself” notion that still looks as patriotic as they come.
As for the cars, right now, short of the SRT-version, the Summit spec Grand Cherokee is what you might call a top of the line model for Jeep.
For the 2017MY, the Grand Cherokee Summit costs upwards of $50,395 and comes with a wide array of posh standard features such as its Harman Kardon Audio System with 19 high-performance speakers, a CommandView dual-pane sunroof, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and a whole lot more.
The Trailhawk version, on the other hand, is more about rugged looks and more aggressiveness, which is where its 18″ wheels and red accents come in. It even has a removable lower front fascia for those interested in going off-road (for real), and all for $42,995 MSRP.
Let us know how you feel about this new Jeep ad and if you think its message is strong enough to unite different types of people.
