The world of three-wheeled vehicles is a strange and mysterious place. Despite their inherent instability, some countries absolutely love them, particularly those in Asia where they generally take the shape of a Tuk Tuk or Rickshaw.

Essentially a motorcycle with three wheels, car seats, a windscreen and a roof, a Tuk Tuk is perfectly normal in many cities around the world. In the UK however, it’s not quite so common, giving Alex from Car Throttle the chance to try out something foreign to British roads.

After picking up a bright red Tuk Tuk from a local importer, it becomes obvious just how out of place the three-wheeler looks when surrounded by normal, four-wheeled cars. Remarkably, it is completely road legal even though it has no doors, no real crash structure and no seat belts.

While power of these Tuk Tuks typically come from engines around 700 cc in size, we can’t help but want one. Seriously, how fun does it look to scream around a roundabout on two wheels with imminent injury just inches away?
