While we’re still waiting for McLaren to give us an official Nurburgring lap time for the 675LT, their quickest non-hypercar vehicle just posted a faster time than the Viper ACR at the Sachsenring circuit.
Whether it’s this ‘Ring or that ‘Ring, a quick lap is a quick lap and the 675LT did not disappoint while flying around the German track, known to many for its Moto GP races.
In fact, among non-modified cars, the 675LT pulled off the 4th best time at 1:30.52 – behind two 918 Spyders and a Corvette Z06 C7.
The high-downforce Viper ACR went around the same track in 1:30.92, whereas the Ferrari 458 Speciale (another track-oriented supercar) did it in 1:32.76. The 675LT even beat the Aventador LP750-4 SV, which posted a 1:31.79 lap time.
With the Lambo being the only car, apart from the 918 Spyder, that has slipped under the 7-minute mark, this makes us even more curious about what the Macca will do on the Nordschleife.
