As one of the most iconic and popular versions of the famous Skyline, the GT-R R34 model is hard to improve upon.
Adding a bit more practicality to it would actually be an improvement, but since we doubt any sane person would sacrifice an original GT-R, Okubo Factory did the next best thing by transforming a regular Skyline sedan into a four-door R34 GT-R.
This isn’t the first GT-R clone with an extra set of doors, as some garages have taken things even further by building R35 GT-R Station Wagons out of Nissan Stageas, but that’s a whole different story.
With this R34 Skyline, we’re looking at a GT-R conversion as well, which is why this is undoubtedly the type of car one would bring to the Fuji Speedway, which is where the opening image was taken.
The result is pretty impressive, especially since midway through the build it seemed like a bit of a mess. We do not know how far the envelope was pushed in terms of power, and whether this thing is about as fast as a real R34 GT-R or maybe even quicker than that – like the 500 PS NISMO Z-tune version of the R34. The whole point was making a sedan out of it, anyway, so it doesn’t really matter, does it?
