An OPC/VXR version of the latest generation Opel/Vauxhall Astra has yet to be announced, but those who don’t bid everything on the extra performance could go for the recently introduced OPC Line Sport Pack.
The new pack is an option for the five-door hatchback in Active, Dynamic and Innovation trim levels, costing €1,150 ($1,283) in Germany (tax included) and aims to give the Astra a bolder, more dynamic look.
“With state-of-the-art technologies and lively engines, the youngest Astra generation stands for pure driving fun. Our OPC Line Sport Pack is perfect for those who want to underline these qualities, with an especially sporty look“, said Opel’s VP of Sales and Aftersales, Peter Christian Kuspert.
Contributing to the enhanced design of the vehicle are the prominent cutouts in place of the fog lamps, with horizontal bars, a new front apron, different side sills, license plate sculpted in the larger bumper, vertical lower taillights and a fresh diffuser.
Customers can choose between six metallic colors: Sovereign silver, Dark Caramel, Cosmic Grey, Deep Sky Blue, Mineral Black, and Emerald Green, and two brilliant lacquers – the Absolute Red and Summit White, which is pictured here.
